About me:

I’m a postdoctoral researcher in political economy at the Department of Sociology of the University of Cambridge. After graduating from Sciences Po Paris and the London School of Economics at the height of the global financial crisis in 2008-’09, I earned my PhD from the European University Institute, with a thesis on the structural power of finance in sovereign debt crises (defended May 19, 2016). I am currently putting the final touches on the book version, which is under contract with Princeton University Press.

Beside my academic work, I regularly provide commentary on the Eurozone debt crisis and current affairs for various international media, including BBC World, BBC News and Al Jazeera English.
